Mardi Gras season is here and since we can’t parade and party like we usually do, the Executive Committee has decided to spread a little love and cheer in a different way this year.

 

Instead of tossing beads and throws, we’re going to use the funds we normally spend on parade fees and security to give back to our at-large community during this challenging time. We know there are individuals and families that might really benefit from and appreciate a little extra support right now.

Today, we need YOUR HELP identifying people in our community who could really use a dose of Asheville Mardi Gras friendship and help. 

 

We're happy to announce that Ingles Markets has matched AMG's contribution of $2500 with $2500 in gift cards of their own. This means that thanks to this generous donation, we can now distribute $5000 in gift cards to those in need!

 

We won’t be able to help everyone of course, but sharing comes naturally to the Asheville Mardi Gras family and that’s why we’re reaching out to try to lift spirits and add some color, love and light during the dark days of the pandemic.
